Faiza Islam Nahin was born and raised in Dhaka. Father ASM Sofrul Islam is a private NGO officer by profession. Mother Zinath Zahan is a housewife. Faiza is the elder of the two sisters.
Faiza is one of the country’s leading dancers. She gained popularity as a dancer by learning dance from Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy. She got first place in dance from Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy in 2009 in first class. Currently, she is a regular dancer listed on Bangladesh Television and a dancer of Shilpakala Academy. She is often seen in various government programs organized by the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh as well as performing dances on various private TV channels. She participated in various conferences outside the country at Tirthankar Mahavir University, Uttar Pradesh, India.
Faiza said, ‘I have been training in dance since childhood. Since 2002. My first dance teacher was Ustad Narayen Dev Dulal, a dance instructor at Bhairav ​​Shilpakala Academy. Later, I trained in dance from Manindra Chandra Das Jir of Shilpakala Academy in 2005. She also said, ‘My parents have contributed a lot to learning dance in my life. Because they have always inspired me to learn my dance from the very beginning. Which makes me even more courageous to overcome all my obstacles. Which gives the motivation to overcome those obstacles and move forward’.
Faiza did her secondary from Sher-i-Bangla Nagar Government Girls’ High School and higher secondary from Birshreshtha Munshi Abdur Rouf Public College. She then completed her Masters in Computer Science Engineering from Daffodil International University. Along with her studies, she completed a four-year course in high dance from the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy. Apart from dance, she is also studying Rabindra Sangeet at Chaynath. She regularly practices music on Rabindra Sangeet and classical music. Currently,
she is working in an organization e-freelancing.com besides pursuing dance and music. Faiza wants to capture the culture of his country and present the culture of Bangladesh to the world outside the country.
